Job Overview

We are looking for a Child and Adolescent Counselling Practitioner to join our team on a temporary, part-time basis in Cardiff. The successful candidate will work with children and adolescents to provide evidence-based wellbeing services, promoting positive outcomes and enhancing their mental health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to children and adolescents, using a range of techniques to promote positive wellbeing outcomes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement proactive wellbeing strategies.
  • Design and deliver workshops and interventions to promote student wellbeing.
Requirements
  1. A degree or PG Diploma in Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, or Therapeutic Counselling.
  2. Experience in assessing and treating common wellbeing issues effectively.
  3. Ability to deliver engaging presentations on various wellbeing topics.
  4. Significant experience as an IAPT/wellbeing practitioner or counsellor within an organisational setting.

The estimated salary for this position is £29-£36 per hour, depending on experience.
