We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Advanced Clinical Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity is based in our Child & Adolescent Mental Health Tier 4 Inpatient Unit, where you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing high-quality care to young people aged 12-18 who require psychiatric services.

The successful candidate will have excellent clinical skills, a strong understanding of adolescent mental health issues, and experience in leadership and management. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualized care plans, as well as coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support the Ward Manager in operational management, including staff supervision, annual leave, and time-off coordination.
  2. Contribute to a multidisciplinary team providing therapeutic services to patients and their families.
  3. Develop and implement holistic treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
  4. Engage in regular clinical supervision and reflective practice to maintain high standards of nursing care.
  5. Work flexibly, undertaking shift work as required, to ensure effective patient care and adequate service provision.
  6. Coordinate the duties of the nursing team, prioritizing tasks, delegating responsibilities, and liaising with other professionals to ensure smooth handovers.

Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board offers an attractive salary of £32,241 - £43,041 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including access to ongoing professional development, pension schemes, and health insurance.
