About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Assistant. As a key member of our branch team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting our customers with their financial needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service to customers visiting our branch, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist customers with opening savings accounts, conducting cash transactions, and providing information on our products and services.
  • Make follow-up calls to customers to discuss available products and services, and take incoming calls to respond to customer inquiries.
  • Complete daily administrative tasks, including booking appointments, scanning documents, and maintaining accurate customer records.
  • Develop your skills and knowledge through training and development opportunities, and contribute to the success of our team.

Requirements
  • Experience of working with customers in a retail or financial services environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and numeracy skills to conduct accurate cash transactions.
  • Resilience and ability to handle challenging customer situations.
  • Passion for delivering excellent customer service and achieving good customer outcomes.
  • Previous experience working with Microsoft Office or in-house computer packages.
  • Ideal education to GCSE level, including Maths and English.
