Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Recovery Paralegal to join our team at Rev & Regs. As a key member of our financial recovery team, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of debt recovery matters, preparing and submitting legal correspondence and documents, and maintaining and organizing case files.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of debt recovery matters, including preparing, reviewing, and submitting legal correspondence and documents.
  • Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all relevant information is up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with clients, debtors, courts, and third parties, including drafting and proof-reading correspondence, legal notices, and settlement agreements.
  • Develop and advise upon effective debt collection strategies and settlement plans, taking into account debtor financial information and assets.
  • Analyze debtor financial information and assets to assess potential recovery options.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong knowledge of debt recovery laws and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
