Key Responsibilities
  • Debt Advisory
    • Preparing P&L accounts and cash flow forecasts for repayment of debts to HMRC
    • Preparing / drafting reports for HMRC negotiations and short-form business reviews
    • Liaising regularly with business owners and directors to obtain critical accounting and sales information
    • Assisting Leonard Curtis Recovery Limited managers and directors with cash management strategies for distressed businesses
    • Liaising with prospective asset based lenders and other funders, providing sales projections and forecasts
    • General filing and setting up of cases
  • Transaction Support
    • Assisting with day-to-day management of transaction processes, including the preparation of information packs, management presentations, financial analysis, and client communications
    • Financial modelling and analysing business forecasts
Requirements
  • Recent A-Level student or recent graduate (ideally with a degree related to accounting, finance, business or another relevant subject)
  • Self-driven with a positive outlook
  • Motivated and proactive with the ability to work well both alone and as part of a team
  • Strong organisation and planning skills with ability to work to deadlines
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Sound financial knowledge and numerical skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
