Senior Hardware Engineer

Ecm Selection is a specialist technology firm that develops high-performance, low-latency hardware and solutions for targeted markets. We are seeking a highly skilled IC Designer to join our team in Cambridge, UK. This role would be responsible for designing or tailoring bespoke ICs/FPGA cores for development and production use.
As an IC Designer at Ecm Selection, you will have a good electronics or similar degree from a top university or equivalent experience. You must be able to demonstrate expertise in creating IP cores for IC, SoC, and/or high-performance FPGA systems. Your knowledge of FPGA hardware architecture design, multi-clock, cross-clock domain, and asynchronous execution will be valuable assets.
The successful candidate will also possess strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues across multiple disciplines. Experience with RTL design (Verilog/SystemVerilog) and synthesis is essential. A focus on performance and reliability is crucial in this role.
We offer a competitive salary of £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, you can expect a range of benefits, including hybrid working options and a professional, relaxed environment.
