**Job Description:**

Senior Electronics Hardware Engineer - Cambridge

Lynx Recruitment Ltd seeks an experienced Senior Electronics Hardware Engineer to join our team in Cambridge. The successful candidate will be working on cutting-edge chassis control products within a collaborative international environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead architectural development of electronic systems for automotive applications, ensuring compliance with ISO 26262 standards.
  • Design and implement complex circuits including H-bridges, MOSFET Switches, and various communication interfaces (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
  • Own the full product development life cycle from concept through to production, including verification and validation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple locations to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in electronic hardware design and Embedded systems.
  • Strong expertise in circuit design, particularly with automotive microcontrollers and power electronics.
  • Proven track record in taking designs from architecture through to production.
  • Experience with automotive safety standards and functionally safe hardware development.
  • Proficiency with Altium Designer and SPICE simulation tools.
  • Experience with EMC, environmental testing, and design for manufacture.
  • Degree in Electronics Engineering or related field.

Estimated Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience. This salary range reflects the seniority of the role and the location in Cambridge.
