Job Title: Senior Hardware Architect

Estimated Salary: £65,000 - £90,000 per annum

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Hardware Architect to join our GPU Datapath team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and evaluating a variety of hardware architectures for implementing arithmetic-intensive blocks.

You will work within a small friendly team of world-class design and verification experts, collaborating on cutting-edge projects that push the boundaries of innovation. Your expertise in digital hardware and digital design will enable you to make significant contributions to our technology.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and evaluating hardware architectures for arithmetic-intensive blocks
  • Performing formal verification on resultant designs using industry-leading tools
  • Collaborating with other engineers to root cause design issues
  • Educating other members of the company on datapath design
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a degree in Mathematics, Computer Science or Electronic Engineering, as well as knowledge of digital hardware and digital design.

You should also have experience with Unix-based systems and at least one HDL, familiarity with scientific computing and numerical libraries, and software programming experience, especially with C, C++, Python or shell.

Familiarity with low power design techniques and appreciation of formal verification methods is highly desirable.
