About the Role

Axon Moore Group Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit Controller to join their Sales Ledger team. As a key member of the finance function, you will play a crucial role in supporting the business's transactional finance operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate and Issue Invoices: Create and send accurate and timely invoices to customers, ensuring seamless payment processing.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure all sales transactions are accurately recorded and up-to-date, with no discrepancies or errors.
  • Set Up New Customer Accounts: Establish new customer accounts in the accounting system, ensuring efficient and secure data management.
  • Match Payments and Invoices: Verify and match payments received with corresponding invoices, ensuring accurate financial records.
  • Investigate and Resolve Discrepancies: Identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors in transactions, ensuring financial accuracy and integrity.
  • Manage Collections and Queries: Effectively manage collections and queries from customers, ensuring timely and professional communication.
  • Monitor Outstanding Balances: Regularly review and follow up on outstanding balances, ensuring prompt payment and minimizing bad debt.
  • Drive Business Growth and Efficiency: Collaborate with the finance team to identify opportunities for growth and improvement, implementing strategies to enhance financial performance and efficiency.
Person Specification
  • Experience in Credit Control and Sales Ledger: Proven experience in credit control, sales ledger, and financial administration, with a strong understanding of financial processes and procedures.
  • Excellent Organizational and Time Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Excel and Accounting Software: Strong skills in Excel and Navision accounting software, with the ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
  • Exceptional Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
