Job Title: Community Mental Health Professional

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Community Mental Health Professional to join our team at Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Community Mental Health Team, you will work closely with service users who have complex needs associated with Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD).

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality interventions, promoting positive attitudes towards service users, and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve shared goals. This includes undertaking mental health assessments, risk assessments, and referring to other clinicians or services as necessary.

In addition to your clinical work, you will also receive regular supervision from our experienced team of specialists. You will be expected to travel to meet the needs of the service and access training to deliver NICE-compliant therapies.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, psychology)
  • Post-qualification experience of clinical work and assessment with service users experiencing a range of mental health problems
  • Knowledge of diversity and anti-discriminatory practice
