Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Community Mental Health Specialist to join our team at the Ministry of Defence (Defence Medical Services). This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to work in a fast-paced environment, providing outstanding care to entitled personnel.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality mental health services, working closely with a multi-disciplinary team to provide assessment and treatment plans for patients referred to the Department of Community Mental Health (DCMH).

Main Responsibilities
  • Providing timely and high-quality mental health services to patients referred to the DCMH
  • Acting as a clinical resource and liaising with medical officers and general practitioners on mental health matters
  • Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions for common mental disorders
  • Providing psychological assessments and interventions to individuals and groups

The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical assessment skills, experience of working in a community mental health setting, and robust knowledge of occupational roles and individual needs.
