Commercial Food Account Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Food Account Manager to join our team at The Oval Partnership. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing commercial strategies that drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and agree on commercial strategies with our Senior Management Team.
  • Manage product categories to ensure efficient sales and promotions.
  • Liaise with technical, purchasing, and production departments to meet sales requirements.
  • Interact with internal and external departments to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Lead people management, providing PDP, support, and direction for direct reports.
  • Identify new commercial opportunities for new and existing customers to achieve business goals.
  • Liaise with marketing and product development managers to understand product range and identify unique selling points.
Requirements
  • Understanding of risk assessments and safe working procedures.
  • Exposure to budget management and sales strategies.
  • Experience in managing people.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer 21 days holiday + bank holidays and a permanent contract.
