About the Role

At Power H2, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Power Engineer to join our team. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of technical knowledge and expertise in electrical power engineering.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for the safe construction, maintenance, and repair of the UK's electrical power network. This includes installation, maintenance, and repair of HV switchgear and transformers up to 33kV, participating in site Health & Safety and Environmental requirements, and assisting with Testing of HV installations.

  • Installation, maintenance, and repair of HV switchgear and transformers up to 33kV
  • Participate in site Health & Safety and Environmental requirements
  • Assist with Testing of HV installations
  • Installation of cable management systems
  • Provide HV cable Jointer's duties
  • Ferrule identification and crimping of cores
  • Ability to read cable block diagrams and schedules

In addition to technical skills, the successful candidate will also need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as they will be working closely with colleagues and clients to deliver projects on time and to budget.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
