A career as an Electrical Power Network Specialist at Power H2 offers a unique opportunity to work with high voltage transmission lines and contribute to the safe and reliable supply of electricity to the UK.

The successful candidate will participate in a 36-month apprenticeship program, which includes block release study weeks at Utility and Construction Training Centre (UCT) Manchester. The apprenticeship leads to the attainment of technical certificates, including C&G 2339-17 in Electrical Power Engineering Level 2 and SHEA Power (EUSR).

The estimated salary for this position is £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, based on industry standards and the level of responsibility involved.

Job Responsibilities & Requirements
  • Installation, maintenance, and repair of HV switchgear and transformers up to and including 33kV
  • Participate fully with all site Health & Safety and Environmental requirements
  • Assist the Senior authorised person with Testing of HV installations
  • Installation of cable management systems (trays and trunking)
  • Provide HV cable Jointers Mate's duties as and when required
