We are seeking a highly motivated and flexible individual to join our team as an Electrical Power Engineer Trainee. As part of our three-year Higher Apprenticeship Substations program, you will learn the skills and knowledge required to become a fully qualified engineer in our substations.

Your key responsibilities will include testing equipment, safety protocols, system protection and control, substation refurbishment, maintenance, technical support, problem diagnosis, and fault fixing. By the end of the programme, you will hold a Level 4 Higher National Certificate in Electrical power protection and plant commissioning and have a job waiting for you.

As a flexible multitasker, you can handle multiple responsibilities while paying great attention to detail. Academic brilliance isn't the only thing we're looking for; we also value individuals with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
