About the Role

We are seeking an Apprentice Power Network Craftsperson to join our HV team in our Hamilton Business Unit.

Responsibilities:
  1. Work on the safe construction, maintenance, and repair of the UK's electrical power network.
  2. Install, maintain, and repair HV switchgear and transformers up to 33kV.
  3. Meet all site Health & Safety and Environmental requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Technical Certificate C&G 2339-17 in Electrical Power Engineering Level 2.
  • SHEA Power (EUSR).
  • BESC Basic Electrical Safety Competence (EUSkills).

The successful candidate will commit to a 36-month apprenticeship starting in September 2024, with block release study weeks at Utility and Construction Training Centre (UCT) Manchester.
