Salary:
Competitive salary package, estimated to be around £32,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Job Description:
We are seeking skilled Registered Nurses to join our Community Team, providing expert care to patients and their families within mid Essex. As a compassionate specialist palliative care nurse, you will work alongside our multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic assessments, plan and coordinate care, and provide symptom control, psycho-social, and spiritual support to patients at the end of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake in-depth holistic assessments to identify patient needs
- Plan and coordinate care to meet patient needs
- Support our Hospice at Home teams to deliver high-quality personal care to people at end of life in their own homes
- Work alongside the MDT to provide excellent symptom control, psycho-social, and spiritual support for patients under the care of the community teams
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid registration as a Registered Nurse with the NMC
- Experience in palliative care or a related field
- Principles of Palliative Care course completion
