Business Development Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business-to-Business Telemarketing Executive to join our team at Ashendon Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for engaging in telemarketing/telesales activities, ensuring a timely and professional approach that aligns with our commitment to delivering maximum energy and optimum results.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with clients to gather campaign briefs and contribute to the creation of briefing documents highlighting key selling points for telemarketers.
- Engage in strategic conversations with director-level personnel to support marketing campaigns and schedule sales appointments for client sales teams.
- Follow up on event invitations and confirm attendance for maximum participation, conduct surveys/questionnaires over the phone, and assist in data cleaning and entry for list building before marketing campaigns.
- Thoroughly record all calls and results with keen attention to detail and provide daily and weekly progress reports to ensure campaign objectives are met.
- Share results with clients as needed and undertake ad hoc tasks as required.
- Demonstrated understanding of business and IT issues, excellent telephone etiquette, and resilience and persistence.
- Fluent English verbal and written skills, effective communication at all business levels, and knowledge of sales processes and methodologies is advantageous.
- PC literacy, proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, experience with web search engines, and familiarity with various databases and CRM systems, especially Salesforce, is a plus.
- Previous telemarketing/telesales experience, strong attention to detail, results-oriented and customer-focused, quality awareness and professionalism, and possession of a driving license.
- Assertive (not aggressive), confident (not arrogant), positive (but realistic), flexible and a team player, and a 'roll your sleeves up' approach.
- Company pension and free parking.
- Day shifts, Monday to Friday 08:45 am - 5:00 pm finishing at 12:30 on Friday, no weekends.
- Hemel Hempstead: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.
