Role Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Junior Institutional Sales Person to join our growing sales desk at Marlin Selection. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for covering institutional clients across real money, hedge funds, and official institutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist senior sales people on the regional coverage model, extending to UK, Europe, Middle East, and select geographies in the Americas.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with institutional clients, providing proactive and comprehensive input on client activity.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Contribute to the growth of accreting sustainable institutional annuity income streams.
  • Collaborate with the team to build and expand an institutional flow platform, including new initiatives such as Carbon.
Requirements

We are looking for a self-starter with a meticulous eye for detail, who possesses a risk and control lens and seeks to obtain the best client outcomes aligned within the bank's risk appetite. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is intellectually stimulated and ready to be held accountable on a results-driven sales team.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Prior flow sales experience in repo, sec lending, FX, or rates.
  • Curiosity, focus, proactivity, and a keen sense of business.
  • Ability to appreciate the entrepreneurial spirit of building new businesses from scratch.
  • Good understanding of cross-currency and FX basis.
