Business Development Manager - Supply Chain
We are seeking a Strategic Sales Director to lead our efforts in gaining additional business across the UK.
With expertise in cost-effective distribution, transport and/or warehousing solutions, you will drive improvements across the sales process, establish strong relationships with major retailers and food-service providers, and create a network of contacts for new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline through consistent lead generation and conversion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue strategic sales opportunities.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.
- Provide guidance and coaching to junior team members on sales best practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales leadership roles within the FMCG industry.
- A strong commercial acumen, with ability to negotiate and close deals at senior levels.
- Ability to build rapport with diverse personalities, from manufacturers to retail executives.
- Familiarity with contract management principles and key account development.
Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum.
