Homelessness Prevention Advisor

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our Housing Options Team as a Resettlement Officer. This exciting opportunity will involve working with clients at risk of imminent homelessness, providing advice and support to prevent and relieve homelessness.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clear and concise advice to customers and landlords, ensuring effective communication and resolution of housing-related issues.
- Engage with clients to understand their personal circumstances and develop tailored support plans to meet their needs.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to broker alternative arrangements and negotiate with landlords and agents.
- Prioritize and manage a high-volume caseload, ensuring timely and effective interventions to prevent homelessness.
- Excellent customer service skills, with experience in a challenging frontline housing service or transferable skills in customer-facing roles.
- Good organisational ability, with a proven track record of self-organisation and task management under pressure.
- Knowledge of UK homelessness legislation and policies.
