Job Title: Commercial Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Commercial Manager to lead the commercial growth of one of the fastest-growing confectionery brands in the market. As a key member of our team at Aaron Wallis Sales Recruitment, you will be instrumental in identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts, working closely with marketing and new product development, increasing the penetration of branded products through retail channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Commercial Strategy: Lead and manage the commercial strategy for the brand, driving growth and revenue through innovative business development strategies.
  • Business Development: Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to expand the brand's market presence, working closely with external agencies to enhance brand visibility.
  • Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with retailers, suppliers, and external agencies to drive commercial success.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire and grow sales, marketing, and account management teams to achieve and exceed commercial targets.

Requirements:

  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in a senior commercial role within the FMCG sector, preferably in confectionery.
  • Business Development Skills: Strong business development skills with a track record of identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities.
  • Relationship Management Skills: Excellent relationship management skills with retailers, suppliers, and external agencies.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strategic thinking and a results-driven mindset to achieve and exceed commercial targets.
  • Leadership Abilities: Dynamic leadership abilities to inspire and grow sales, marketing, and account management teams.
