Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced SEND Teacher to join our school and make a real difference in the lives of our students.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning provision to a small group of pupils with mild to moderate learning needs, working closely with the main school SENDCo and reporting to the Assistant Head.

Main Responsibilities
  • To provide quality teaching and learning provision to support pupils' progress, including delivering engaging and effective teaching to support pupils' social communication and overall development.
  • To contribute actively to provision mapping and annual reviews, supporting pupils during involvement with the main school, personalising learning as needed.
  • To maintain accurate records to promote tracking and monitoring of pupil progress using data and teacher assessment records.
  • To liaise with parents, keeping them informed about their child's day, learning, and achievements, attending Parent Evenings and individual meetings as required.

Estimated salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum.
