Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our team in Essex. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating our practical environmental conservation works across the county, liaising with partner organisations and supporting our local staff team to deliver high-quality opportunities for volunteers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate TCV's practical environmental conservation works across Essex
  • Liaise with partner organisations to deliver high-quality opportunities for volunteers
  • Support our local staff team to achieve project goals
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure project success
  • Produce written reports to partners and funders
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience of setting and working to budgets
  • Ability to engage and manage groups of volunteers
  • Knowledge of using hand tools for practical habitat management techniques
  • Comfortable using social media applications to support and promote our work
