Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our team in Essex. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating our practical environmental conservation works across the region, liaising with partner organizations, and supporting our local staff team to deliver high-quality opportunities for volunteers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate environmental conservation projects across Essex, ensuring effective collaboration with partner organizations and local staff teams.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to identify project needs and develop strategies for successful project delivery.
  • Support the development and implementation of project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with volunteers, ensuring a positive and inclusive experience.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of environmental conservation practices, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of project reports, ensuring accurate and timely submission to stakeholders.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in team leadership, project coordination, and environmental conservation.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Full, clean, or near-clean UK driving license, held for a minimum of one year.
