Environmental Conservation Project Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Team Leader in Essex. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating our practical environmental conservation works across the county, liaising with partner organizations, and supporting our local staff team to deliver high-quality opportunities for volunteers.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage environmental conservation projects in Essex, ensuring effective collaboration with partner organizations and local stakeholders.
- Support and develop the skills of our local staff team, providing guidance and training to ensure they are equipped to deliver high-quality projects.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including partner organizations, funders, and local communities.
- Manage budgets, grants, and reports, ensuring effective financial management and compliance with organizational policies.
- Engage and manage groups of volunteers, providing a safe and welcoming environment for all participants.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Experience of managing budgets, grants, and reports, with a strong understanding of financial management principles.
- Ability to work effectively in a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and partnership working.
- Knowledge of environmental conservation practices and principles, with a strong understanding of habitat management techniques.
- Ability to engage and manage groups of volunteers, with a strong focus on safety and inclusivity.
