Environmental Conservation Project Coordinator

At The Conservation Volunteers, we're passionate about creating healthier and happier communities for everyone. Our work across the UK focuses on delivering practical solutions to real-life challenges, empowering people to take control of their lives and outdoor spaces.
This exciting role offers a unique opportunity to combine staff management with hands-on delivery of environmental conservation projects. As a key member of our team, you'll co-ordinate our practical environmental conservation works across Essex, liaising with partner organisations and supporting our local staff team to deliver high-quality opportunities for volunteers.
We're looking for someone with excellent communication and negotiation skills, experience of setting and working to budgets, and the ability to produce written reports to partners and funders. You'll also need to be comfortable using a range of social media applications to support, promote, and celebrate our work.
As a team player, you'll be responsible for engaging and managing groups of volunteers, using hand tools to perform a range of practical habitat management techniques, and promoting our work through social media. You'll also contribute to our commitment to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion, ensuring that our activities are relevant and accessible for the communities we serve.

Requirements:
- Good communication and negotiation skills
