Environmental Conservation Team Lead
At TCV, we're committed to creating healthier and happier communities for everyone. As our Environmental Conservation Team Lead, you'll play a key role in coordinating our practical environmental conservation works across Essex, working closely with partner organisations and supporting our local staff team to deliver high-quality opportunities for volunteers.
Your main responsibilities will include managing staff and coordinating environmental conservation projects, ensuring effective communication and negotiation with partners and stakeholders. You'll also be responsible for budgeting, grant applications, and producing written reports to partners and funders. Excellent organisational skills, the ability to multitask, and experience of engaging and managing groups of volunteers are essential for this role. Knowledge of hand tools and practical habitat management techniques is highly desirable. You'll be comfortable using social media applications to support, promote, and celebrate our work.
TCV's commitment to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion is fundamental to our approach, and as our Environmental Conservation Team Lead, you'll promote and create safe, welcoming places for people who face barriers to accessing green space. You'll make our activities relevant and accessible for the communities we work with, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to benefit from our work.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to creating healthier and happier communities for everyone. If you're passionate about environmental conservation and have the skills and experience to match, we'd love to hear from you.
