Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales and Account Manager to join our team at Whitehead Recruitment Ltd. As an Internal Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing our existing customer base, as well as identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage and interpret customer requirements, providing accurate and competitive quotations in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, working closely with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies.
  • Manage and prioritize day-to-day activities, including quotes and order deadlines, to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to provide expert advice and support to customers, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a sales and account management role, with a strong track record of success in a commercial and technical environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex customer requirements and provide creative solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the plastic pipes and fittings industry, with a strong understanding of the products and services offered by Whitehead Recruitment Ltd.
