Mental Health Expertise Required

We seek an accomplished Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Calderdale Older People Community Mental Health Team, working from the Laura Mitchell Health and Wellbeing Centre.

This permanent full-time role involves participating in 10 programmed activities per week, with part-time on-call responsibilities considered.

Main Job Accountabilities
  • Delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating with the Calderdale Older People Community Team.

Necessary Qualifications and Experience
  • Must hold a Specialist Registration on the GMC list for older adult psychiatry or meet the eligibility criteria within six months.
  • Currently holds a valid UK driving permit.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership and emotional intelligence.
  • Has personal experience supporting a family member or friend with mental health challenges.
  • Hold a medical degree (MB BS) or its equivalent.
Remuneration and Benefits Package

The expected annual salary for this job is between £83,886 and £121,016, depending on experience.
