About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Cygnet Lodge Brighouse. This is a high dependency inpatient rehabilitation service for men, with a focus on helping individuals increase their independence through work, education, and social and leisure facilities.
As a Medical Director - Adult and Child Psychiatry Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing referrals, undertaking mental state examinations of service users, and developing treatment plans in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team.
The successful candidate will have experience in adult psychiatry and mental health diagnosis, knowledge of the Mental Health Act and Code of Practice, as well as the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Code of Capacity.
You will be expected to communicate effectively with patients, write clear medical notes, and participate in ward rounds and clinical audits.
