Fitness Instructor

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Fitness Instructor to join our team at Gosforth Leisure Centre in Newcastle. As a Fitness Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality group exercise classes, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a safe and clean environment for our members.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct pre-exercise screenings and continuous welfare checks of customers.
- Identify and agree on short-term, medium-term, and long-term goals with customers.
- Plan and deliver a variety of group exercise classes, making adjustments as needed.
- Provide 1-1 or small group inductions, including gym rules, etiquette, and equipment use.
- Create bespoke exercise programs tailored to each customer's needs and abilities.
- Use logical and progressive teaching methodologies to introduce a range of exercises.
- Select and demonstrate various training methods for customers.
- Provide customers with general advice on how to progress their exercise programs.
- Assist customers in correcting unsafe techniques and promote retention and adherence to exercise.
