Job Summary
Church Road Surgery, a well-established GP training practice, is seeking a part-time medical receptionist/administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be fluent in English, and have a caring and empathetic character.
Main Duties
- Answer calls, book appointments, and prepare prescriptions
- Input documents and maintain accurate records
- Provide excellent customer service and handle general enquiries and complaints
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of the reception area
About Us
Our practice delivers family-centred continuity of care to 5,000 patients and comprises a team of 3 GPs, a Nurse Practitioner, Practice Nurse, and HCAs, as well as an excellent admin team and additional roles.
Person Specification
- Good standard of general education
- Experience of working with the general public and in a reception role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- IT skills and ability to work with Practice computer system
