Job Summary

Church Road Surgery, a well-established GP training practice, is seeking a part-time medical receptionist/administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be fluent in English, and have a caring and empathetic character.

Main Duties

  • Answer calls, book appointments, and prepare prescriptions
  • Input documents and maintain accurate records
  • Provide excellent customer service and handle general enquiries and complaints
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of the reception area

About Us

Our practice delivers family-centred continuity of care to 5,000 patients and comprises a team of 3 GPs, a Nurse Practitioner, Practice Nurse, and HCAs, as well as an excellent admin team and additional roles.

Person Specification

  • Good standard of general education
  • Experience of working with the general public and in a reception role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • IT skills and ability to work with Practice computer system
