Job Title: ServiceNow Senior Developer

Location: Leeds or Preston. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: Up to £60,000 depending on experience and skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze ServiceNow functionality and applications to ensure alignment with business processes and policies
  • Develop and present innovative ideas for ServiceNow platform and service improvements
  • Design and implement technical solutions, including configuration of Out of The Box (OOB) and custom code development
  • Perform technical testing and quality assurance in controlled non-Production environments
  • Maintain the ServiceNow platform, including data cleansing, reduction of technical debt, and bug fixes
  • Support the delivery of software development using Agile methodologies
  • Coach and mentor junior developers to enhance team capabilities
  • Take technical ownership of ServiceNow software development across all stages and iterations
  • Plan and drive software construction activities, adopting and adapting appropriate software development methods, tools, and techniques
  • Design complex systems, components, and modules, and produce solution design documentation

Requirements:

  • Awareness of business unit policies and processes
  • Experience in IT function and software project delivery
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow and ITIL processes
  • Experience implementing CSDM framework, custom REST-based integrations, and HR and SPM modules
  • ServiceNow certifications: Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, CIS - ITSM, SSCIS HR, CIS SPM
  • Relevant vocational qualifications or equivalent experience in Agile methodologies
