Job Title: ServiceNow Senior Developer

Location: Leeds or Preston. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: Up to £60,000 depending on experience and skills

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Review and analyze ServiceNow functionality and applications to ensure alignment with business processes and policies
  2. Develop and present innovative ideas for ServiceNow platform and service improvements
  3. Design and implement technical solutions, including configuration of Out of The Box (OOB) and custom code development
  4. Perform technical testing and quality assurance in controlled non-Production environments
  5. Maintain the ServiceNow platform, including data cleansing, reduction of technical debt, and bug fixes
  6. Support the delivery of software development using Agile methodologies
  7. Coach and mentor junior developers in the team
  8. Take technical ownership of ServiceNow software development across all stages and iterations
  9. Plan and drive software construction activities, adopting and adapting appropriate software development methods, tools, and techniques
  10. Design complex systems and components, producing solution design documentation and assessing associated risks

Requirements:

  1. Awareness of business unit policies and processes
  2. Experience working in an IT function and software project delivery
  3. Knowledge of ServiceNow and ITIL processes
  4. Experience implementing CSDM framework and custom REST-based integrations
  5. Extensive experience in HR and SPM modules
  6. ServiceNow certifications:
  7. Certified System Administrator
  8. Certified Application Developer
  9. CIS - ITSM
  10. SSCIS HR - distinct advantage
  11. CIS SPM - distinct advantage
  12. Relevant vocational qualifications or equivalent experience of working within Agile Methodologies
