EHS Manager - Upstream Chemicals Runcorn

We are seeking an experienced EHS Manager to join our team in Runcorn. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, health, and environmental performance of our UK operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Safety, Health, Environmental, Industrial Quality, Security, and Regulatory requirements for our UK operations.
  • Provide leadership and technical advice to plants, projects, and corporate offices on SHE and Industrial Quality matters.
  • Lead the SHEQ&S teams and influence management teams to sustain and improve SHEQ&S standards.
  • Identify, define, and implement SHEQ&S policies, standards, processes, and procedures to achieve world-class performance.
  • Monitor and assess potential future Safety, Health, Security, Industrial Quality, and Environmental issues.
  • Manage regulatory licenses and permits, including COMAH, EPR, and climate change levy.
  • Maintain oversight and provide direction for process safety management and behavioral safety improvement processes.
  • Manage the delivery of a technical training and competence management system.

Requirements:

  • Graduate in chemical or scientific discipline.
  • Professional safety and health qualification, such as NEBOSH diploma.
  • Established technical background with 10 years' experience in production or operations environment and 3 years in a regulatory position for an upper-tier COMAH site.
  • Proven experience with management systems, including design, implementation, and auditing.
  • Technical competence in process safety, environmental regulation, and occupational safety.
