EHS Manager - Upstream Chemicals Runcorn

We are seeking an experienced EHS Manager to join our team in Runcorn. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, health, and environmental performance of our upstream chemicals operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective EHS management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and manage the SHEQ team to deliver world-class EHS performance.
  • Provide technical advice and support to plants, projects, and corporate offices on EHS matters.
  • Monitor and assess potential EHS risks and opportunities to inform business strategy.
  • Manage regulatory licenses and permits, including COMAH, EPR, and climate change levy.
Requirements:
  • Graduate in chemical or scientific discipline.
  • Professional safety and health qualification, such as NEBOSH diploma.
  • 10 years' experience in a production or operations environment, with 3 years in a regulatory position for an upper-tier COMAH site.
  • Proven experience with management systems, including design, implementation, and auditing.
  • Technical competence in process safety, environmental regulation, and occupational safety.
