About the Role

Kawneer Company, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled EHS Administrator to join our team in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with EHS regulations and standards through effective training, monitoring, and record-keeping.
  • Procure and manage PPE stocks, operational equipment, and safety items to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Support the general management of the EHS department, including EHS, First Aid, Fire, Training, and Health Hygiene.
  • Assist in reporting and investigating accidents, injuries, and near misses, and maintain accurate records on the company's EHS Reporting System.
  • Participate in workplace EHS audits and inspections as required.
  • Monitor and follow up on EHS actions, and prepare monthly performance metrics to track progress.
  • Support EHS Committee Meetings and maintain accurate records, including minutes and actions.
  • Collaborate with the EHS Advisor/Manager to implement effective environmental, health, and safety processes.
  • Support line management on EH&S issues, including incidents, investigations, risk assessments, procedures, employee concerns, emergency preparedness, and changes affecting EHS.
  • Ensure all significant risks are covered by a suitable and sufficient risk assessment process, including COSHH, Manual Handling, and Ergonomic assessments.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an EHS advisory role.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing background is advantageous.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to motivate and support team members.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
