Job Title: Positive Behaviour Specialist
">About the Position:
This exciting opportunity has arisen for a Positive Behaviour Specialist to join our team in a North London primary school. As a key member of the school community, you will play a vital role in supporting children with autism and behavioural needs.
">Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement individualised behaviour plans.
- Deliver targeted interventions using ABA and Verbal Behaviour Analysis principles.
- Work closely with pupils to promote social and emotional learning, as well as academic achievement.
- Monitor and record pupil progress, contributing to regular assessments and reviews.
- Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless support.
Your Qualities and Skills:
- Experience working with children with autism and/or behavioural needs.
- Knowledge or training in ABA and behaviour management strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Compassion and patience when working with vulnerable individuals.
