About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our team in Barking & Dagenham. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, helping students with special educational needs to achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students with special educational needs, adapting to individual learning styles and abilities.
  • Develop and implement effective support strategies, including behaviour management plans and individualised learning programmes.
  • Work closely with teaching staff and colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the development of a comprehensive support plan.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree from a top UK university.
  • Previous experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Salary and Benefits
