Senior Business Development Manager for Defence Sector

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Development Manager to join our team in Coventry, UK. This is a permanent role with a competitive salary range of £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth and development within the defence sector, working closely with our Operations team to identify new opportunities and build strong relationships with key clients.
This is a senior leadership position that requires a deep understanding of the technology industry, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing industry, particularly in the MOD or related sectors, and will be able to think strategically and make informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and revenue within the defence sector
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, working closely with our sales and marketing teams
- Manage and oversee the delivery of complex projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
