Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced advanced practitioner/clinician to support the Regional Faculty for Advancing Practice in delivering high-quality training and supervision to advanced practice trainees. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the advanced practice framework and be able to advise on matters related to advanced practice specialty-specific issues, recruitment, and programme management.

Main Responsibilities

  • Advise on advanced practice specialty-specific matters happening regionally and nationally.
  • Support recruitment to advanced practice training posts and programmes and manage trainee/trainer concerns.
  • Use educational resources to support learners within programmes to fulfil their full potential.
  • Advanced Practice programme management, including assessments, progression, support and remediation, trainee management, careers support and less than full-time training.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Education to Masters' level, or equivalent level of experience of working at a senior level in specialist area and healthcare leadership.
  • Current membership to a regulatory body / Fellowship of a College, Faculty, professional association
  • Extensive knowledge of healthcare education management or commissioning, acquired through post graduate diploma or equivalent experience or training.
