Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Operating Department Practitioner to join our Anaesthetic team in the Main Theatre Suite at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will provide skilled assistance in Anaesthetics, supporting the perioperative team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Main Duties
Registered Practitioners who will support the perioperative team by providing skilled assistance in Anaesthetics. This post has been identified as involving access to vulnerable adults and/or children, and in line with Trust Policy, successful applicants will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS Check.
Requirements
Essential criteria include being a Registered Operating Department Practitioner or nurse with a UK-approved anaesthetic qualification, being a member of a professional body, and having a flexible attitude to work. Desirable criteria include experience in a broad range of theatre specialties and excellent communication and team working skills.
