About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Director to join our team at Willmott Dixon. As a key member of our Southern regional team, you will be responsible for leading the development and submission of high-quality bids for projects across South London and the South East.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the bid team in the preparation and submission of bids, ensuring that all proposals meet the required standards and are error-free.
  • Develop and implement effective bid strategies to ensure that our proposals are compelling and meet the needs of our clients.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to assemble a team of experts who can contribute to the development of high-quality bids.
  • Provide guidance and support to bid team members to ensure that they have the necessary skills and resources to produce high-quality bids.
  • Ensure that all bids are submitted on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and partners.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with experience of leading bid teams and developing high-quality bids.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal departments and external partners.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the construction industry.
