About the Role

Metispeople is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Planning Lead to join our innovative team. In this pivotal role, you will manage a dedicated team while overseeing multiple concurrent projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a small team of planning professionals, ensuring effective project oversight.
  • Administer and manage various contract types, including JCT and NEC, with a focus on clause 32.

Project Management Duties

As a Project Planning Lead, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough reviews of contractor claims and disputes as necessary.
  • Evaluating detailed work schedules from contractors to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and work breakdown structures.
  • Inputting resource and cost data to generate comprehensive earned value reports.
  • Assessing the adequacy of time risk allowances and identifying any potential erosion due to unforeseen events.
  • Providing support to the Project Manager, Planning Lead, and Project Controls Manager on all scheduling matters.
  • Establishing commissioning and testing schedules at the program level, considering project interfaces and completion timelines.
  • Assisting in the collection of project data, best practices, and benchmarking information.
  • Collaborating with the Planning Director to maintain an accurate assessment of project progress.
