Job Title: Business Development Account Manager

AVASK ACCOUNTING and BUSINESS CONSULTANTS is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Account Manager to join our team. As a Business Development Account Manager, you will be responsible for generating growth and sales for AVASK. You will remain knowledgeable about our portfolio of offerings and ensure the correct products are presented and sold to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.
  2. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
  3. Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
  4. Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
  5. Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
  6. Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
  7. Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas.
  8. Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts).
  9. Prepare reports on account status.
  10. Collaborate with the sales team to identify and grow opportunities within the territory.
  11. Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
  12. Maintain close relationships with partners, vendors, and suppliers as appropriate.
  13. Keep abreast of both internal and external developments within the E-commerce world to ensure a working knowledge of sellers and industry.
  14. Supervise and support the work of junior members of the business development team.
  15. Prospect and qualify new sales leads.
  16. Schedule meetings and presentations with prospects.
  17. Create, plan, and deliver presentations on company products.
  18. Track all sales activities in the company CRM system and keep current by updating account information regularly.
Requirements:
  1. Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager, or relevant role.
  2. Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level.
  3. Solid experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho CRM, or HubSpot) and MS Office (particularly MS Excel).
  4. Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.
  5. Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
  6. Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  7. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  8. BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a relevant field.
