Residential Care Officer

Lincolnshire County Council Children's Services are a renowned provider of high-quality care for children in need. We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Residential Care Officer to join our team.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children and young people. As a Residential Care Officer, you will work within a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic support, including education, therapy, and life skills training.
We offer a competitive salary range of £29,093 - £31,586 per annum, plus a sleeping-in payment of £41 per night. Overtime is paid at time-and-a-half.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized care and support to children and young people with complex needs
- Collaborate with educational teams to develop personalized learning plans
- Work with therapeutic specialists to address emotional and behavioral challenges
We seek candidates with a caring and playful demeanor, basic IT skills, and knowledge or experience in the caring profession. A willingness to obtain a QCF qualification in working with children is essential. A driving license is desirable but not required.
