Job Opportunity

We are recruiting for a Freelance/Contracting Quantity Surveyor to join our client's commercial team in Coventry. The role involves working on a 6-month contract covering a Highways Scheme near Coventry.

Key Aspects
  • Commercial reporting, forecasting, and project performance analysis.
  • Collaboration with the operational team to produce accurate End Life Forecasts.
  • Client interface and risk management, including change control and WIP management.
  • Contract administration and provision of contractual advice to the project delivery team.
  • Subcontract procurement and placement, ensuring best value for money and lowest risk.
  • Payment and debt management, post-project appraisals, and feedback loop to the T&E team.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have experience working as a Quantity Surveyor for a civil engineering/instruction construction contractor, ideally highways and general civils focused. You must also come from a Quantity Surveyor background on similar projects and have strong knowledge and experience working with NEC suite of contracts.

Remuneration

The on offer is a day rate of up to £500 per day (dependent upon experience).
