Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Freelance/Contracting Quantity Surveyor to work on a 6-month contract covering a Highways Scheme near Coventry. The role involves providing commercial reporting, forecasting, and project performance analysis, as well as collaborating with the operational team to produce accurate End Life Forecasts.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Commercial reporting, forecasting, and project performance analysis.
  2. Collaboration with the operational team to produce accurate End Life Forecasts.
  3. Client interface and risk management, including change control and WIP management.
  4. Contract administration and provision of contractual advice to the project delivery team.
  5. Subcontract procurement and placement, ensuring best value for money and lowest risk.
  6. Payment and debt management, post-project appraisals, and feedback loop to the T&E team.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have experience working as a Quantity Surveyor for a civil engineering/instruction construction contractor, ideally highways and general civils focused. You must also come from a Quantity Surveyor background on similar projects and have strong knowledge and experience working with NEC suite of contracts.

Salary Information

The salary for this position is up to £500 per day, dependent upon experience.
