Infrastructure Project Manager

A leading Civil Engineering Contractor based in Rugby are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee the initial stages of their £134 million Carbon Capture project in Liverpool. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working on large Infrastructure projects, with a strong understanding of NEC option A.
Salary and Benefits
The successful applicant can expect a competitive salary of up to £90,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to this, the company offers an attractive benefits package, including hybrid working options and excellent work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for preparing internal commercial reports, valuations, and cost reports for the client. They will also manage subcontract and material procurement schedules, administer subcontractor/supplier accounts, and agree final accounts. Furthermore, they will undertake contract administration, including change management and maintain associated registers. Identifying commercial risks, opportunities, value engineering, and change is also a key aspect of this role.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this position, candidates must have a strong background in quantity surveying, with a focus on large-scale Infrastructure projects. A good understanding of NEC option A is essential, as is the ability to utilise costing systems effectively. Strong communication and project management skills are also required.
